On the Road with Amber

Hi, I’m Amber Walker, you might have seen me; I’m the one who is manning the Laurel Springs School booth at your athletic event, entertainment awards, or homeschool conventions. I have been lucky enough to travel the country, meeting our amazing students, Actors like our Alumni Jennifer Love Hewitt, Elijah Wood, Thora Birch, Raven Simone, Miko Hughes, Emma Roberts, Lindsay Lohan, Bow Wow, Hayden Panettiere, Evan Rachel Wood, Sophia Vassilieva, The Dedek Twins, The Restaneo Sisters, Kristen Stewart, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Kyle Swann, Rachel Cook, just to name a few.

Another forty percent of our students are active in elite sports. Many of the stars you see in figure skating, like silver Olympic medalist, Tanith Belbin, National Gold Medalist’s Katie Orscher, and Madison and Kiefer Hubbell. Tennis stars like Julia Cohen, Alexa Glatch, Kellen Domico, Nate Schnugg, Chelsey Gulleckson, Asia Muhammed, Austin Krajicek, Julia Boserup, Gail Brodsky. Gymnast’s like the Kurt Thomas’s elite level girls, the best surfers like Dane Reynolds and Chad Compton, motocross stars, dancers, hockey, golf and equestrians. Whatever sport that interests these young folks is the reason why they choose LSS, and is what makes us affectionately known as "The School of the Stars."

Well, enough name dropping for now, but you can bet I’ll be out there, at these events, meeting our students, and supporting them while they’re living their dreams.
